Mom Suzán
Seeing the humor in it all
like hiding yawns at a ball
while wielding knives and forks
along widow's walks
being collected at wharfs
becoming filled up with water
for prominent spider mums
seen in huge wooden tubs
all bunched up
rub-a-dub-dubs
beating away bugs
during wrecking days
on alternate Sundays
as salvage operations
seeking eternal salvation
by opening water ways
legends circulating with faces
mysteriously shaded...
